Worship: World Communion Sunday, 10.7.12

World Communion is one our favorite annual services as it gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that which binds us all together. Worship leaders include: Readers Ensemble, Combined Choirs, Children’s Choir, Megan Strollo, Bobby McGraw, Wint Wint Zaw, Julie Gaines, and the church staff.

Our worship service centers on James 5:13-20. Rev. Severns’ sermon is entitled “It is Well”. Worship leaders include Bill and Eleanor Brown, Molly Huffstetler, Bya Wann, Ja Ja Hkanghti, The Ayers Family, Hlei Iang, the Sanctuary Choir, and Church Staff.

Worship: Pentecost 17b, 9.23.12

Our worship service focuses on James 3:13-4:7. Rev. Severns’ sermon is entitled, “Draw Near”. Worship leaders include Dat Pham, The Hoffpauir Family, Kristen Koger, the Sanctuary Choir, William Strollo, Taylor Gaines, and the Church Staff. One of the highlights of the service includes the dedication of Emily Mae Fogel.

The Second Sunday of our series on James centers on Chapter 2, verses 1-17. Rev. Severns’ sermon is entitled “What Good is it?”. Our series on the book of James begins with Chapter 1, verses 17-27. Rev. Dan Schumacher’s sermon is entitled “God’s Good Gift”. Worship leaders include Natalie Powers, Jeff Walton, John Burgess, Meade Skelton, Lydia Sui Ni Kim, Bill Welstead, Joseph Perdue, and the Church Staff.

Traditioned Innovation: Series Conclusion

Our summer series concludes with an emphasis on Acts 1:1-14. Worship leaders include Anna Tuckwiller, Mamie Ruth Blanton, Nathan Hatfield, Molly Huffstetler, Sarah Petty, Terry Witt, Beth and Art Wright.
