At Tabernacle Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia, our Music Ministry exists to glorify God, lead the congregation in meaningful worship, and proclaim the Gospel through song. Music is central to our worship experience, serving as a powerful expression of faith, unity, and praise.
Our ministry blends traditional hymns, gospel favorites, and worship songs that speak to every generation. Each service is thoughtfully prepared to create an atmosphere where hearts are lifted, lives are encouraged, and God is exalted.
Our Music Ministry includes dedicated vocalists, instrumentalists, an Inter-generational Vocal Ensemble, and music staff who serve our music ministry. Through rehearsals, special programs such as our annual Christmas In The Fan Concert with the Richmond Concert Band, and seasonal celebrations, we seek not only to develop musical gifts but also to nurture spiritual growth and fellowship among our members.
Whether through a stirring anthem from the Inter-generational Vocal Ensemble, a congregational hymn, a chorus, or a quiet moment of reflection with a solo, duet, or trio, our prayer is that every note points to Christ and invites others into a deeper relationship with Him.
