Worship, Proper 14a: 8.7.11

Our worship centers on Romans 10:5-15, the Apostle Paul’s challenge to proclaim the Gospel.  Worship leaders include Wade Severns, Brynne, Severns, Lay Htoo, Dick Denzler, and the church staff. Rev. Ben Lucas’ leads us in communion.

Worship: Proper 12a, 7.24.11

Our worship service focuses upon Romans 8:26-39. Worship leaders include Alec and Amanda Miller, Phil and Olivia Dawson, Intergenerational and Sanctuary Choirs, and Pastoral Staff Members. Bread for the journey is offered to the Millers and Dawsons and we celebrate the arrival of our newest church member, David Rice.

Worship: Proper 11a, VBS Sunday, 7.17.11

Our worship service wraps up a wonderful week of Vacation Bible School. The children, their leaders, and parents help facilitate a good portion of the service. We also welcome the Coppage Family back home from Hungary. Rev. Severns’ sermon centers on Romans 8:12-25. The Christian Church is an institution of hope.  The service culminates with four new members joining the fold. We welcome Susan, Foster, Trey, and Jordan with open arms.

Our worship centers on Romans 8:1-11. Special music and worship leadership is provided by Susan Braden, Susan Sanford, Jessica Corbitt, and the church staff. Dr. John Burgess’ sermon grapples with Paul’s instruction about the Spirit’s role in our lives. Bread for the journey is offered to Peter Thawngzauk.
