And so our summer long emphasis on the Hebrew Bible begins.  The service focuses on Genesis 6:11-22; 7:24; 8:14-19.  The destruction of the world, and divine regret that comes with it, will introduce a new Covenant between God and all of creation.
How much do we really know about this text? What does it say about God and what is our role in the covenant?
